I am glad to hear it. It keeps us going. Sorry to take so long to respond. The pamphlets are by Patty Wipfler, "Listening to Children", available on the website http://www.handinhandparenting.org/store. We have a few left. if you want to contribute to the station and get them that way, go to the tip jar on the KPFT website, and make a donation to Thresholds of $100 or more.

Sorry to take so long to respond. Most of the comments we get are spam. I am pleased to hear that our conversations have been meaningful for you in your relationships with your children. We will continue to have them.

As for a societal law preventing abortions, I don't think I am likely to be able to support that any time soon. The society as a whole has no interest in unwanted children being born. Given the choices women have available to them with an unwanted pregnancy, I can't see that forcing them to bring the child to term serves them or the rest of us. On a personal level, it is the taking of life, and in my experience, is not done lightly. I doubt that anyone else's judgement in the matter is likely to be more moral than the woman who bears the embryo within her, and would not like to see that judgement interfered with.
